Hibiscus

Maggie, a native of Springville, PA, now lives near Tunkhannock. She is a former garden center/greenhouse owner, now retired. The garden center housed a painting supply department where she taught beginning acrylic painting. She also painted fabrics, both ready made and custom designs.

Maggie is the founder of PA Heartland Artists, a chapter of Society of Decorative Painters, which meets monthly at the Tunkhannock Library. She is also founder of Wyoming County Chorale, a 35 voice volunteer chorus based in Tunkhannock.

Maggie's paint brushes get pretty dusty sometimes thanks to her many other endeavors, such as the Dietrich Theater and the Library and Community Foundation of Susquehanna & Wyoming Counties.
