Karen is a native of Pennsylvania and resides in Dushore, Pa. where she operates a Studio. Karen considers her time with her art precious as she is also an owner and general manager of a wholesale distribution warehouse and is an active member of Goshin Jutsu Karate since 1979 where she holds a Master rank and teaches weekly.

Karen received art training from a private Atelier operated by Master Karl-Heinz Meschbach, a European Art Guild Painter as well as studying from certified decorative artists through the Society of Decorative Painters.

She enjoys her time creating original works inspired from her scenic location in the Endless Mountains. Her love of nature and for Mother Earth shows through in many of her artworks including her oils, watercolor, Acrylic, Murals, Drawings and Decorative painting. Karen is a member of the Pa Rte. 6 Artisan Trail, Blue Heron Gallery, Society of Decorative Painters, Endless Mountain Tole Painters. Interest in her work is not contained to the United States as some of her works now reside in Germany.
