Fire, Light and Heat- An exhibit planned for Aug 8 through October 12 at the
Blue Heron Gallery - opening on Friday, Aug 8 with a gala event featuring,
jazz, poetry reading, dance lessons, great food and wine and the release of
the accompanying catalog.
Images and poems should pertain to the theme of fire as this is our third
exhibit in the "Elements" series.
The Fee for visual artist is $35 (make checks out to, Blue Heron Fire Show)
for submission of up to five images. We are accepting video or installation
art as well. There is no size limit and no restriction on date of
execution. All work should be ready for hanging and or with pedestals or
other display systems. Please label the back of each work with title,
price, your name, address and phone or e-mail.
Artists may submit either 35 mm slides or j-peg submissions. Send your

Poets may submit up to five poems on the same theme and the fee is $20(make
checks out to Blue Heron Fire Show). Please submit your entries by e-mail to
Brian Keeler at bkeeler@epix.net. Send your fee and hard copy of poems to
Blue Heron Gallery, PO Box 813, Wyalusing, PA 18853.
The deadline for both images and poems is June 15, but early submission will
be appreciated and greatly facilitate the production of the catalog.
The Blue Heron Gallery retains a 20% commission on sales.
There are plans as in previous years for a portion of the show to continue
to the Laura Craig Gallery in Scranton at a later date.
